The first Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS) was held in Cambridge, UK, in July 1996. It has been held annually since then, usually in Europe or North America. PETS is the premier venue for presenting research on privacy technologies and bringing together leading researchers and practitioners in the field.
The symposium will highlight recent advances in the design and analysis of privacy-enhancing technologies, with a particular focus on those that enable anonymous communication, location privacy, and user-controlled data sharing. It will also feature work on systems that use these technologies to achieve practical privacy goals such as electronic voting, social networking, and sensor networks.

Registration:
Registration will open in June 2022. The registration fee includes access to all sessions, lunches, and a reception. It does not include accommodation or travel expenses. Early bird registration will be available at a reduced rate. More information will be available closer to the symposium dates.
Submission Guidelines:
Papers must be submitted electronically via the PETS 2022 submission site. Submissions must be in PDF format and should not exceed 12 pages, excluding references. Papers must be formatted using the IACR two-column style (available for download here).
The title page should include the paper title, author names and affiliations, a brief abstract, and any relevant keywords. The body of the paper should begin on the second page. References may appear in the final two pages of the paper only.
Papers that do not conform to these guidelines may be rejected without review.
Review Process:
Papers will be evaluated by the Program Committee on the basis of their technical merit, novelty, relevance to the symposium, and clarity. The evaluation process will be double-blind, meaning that author names and affiliations must be concealed from reviewers.
Accepted papers will be presented at the symposium and included in the proceedings, which will be published by the IACR.
